We have a maximum of 4 students per booking. All students get individual boards and there is at least one instructor per two people.
A standard lesson will last 90 minutes. This includes a 30 minute land lesson and 60 minutes on the water.
A standard 90 minute lesson costs $250 for one person, $450 for two people, $697 for 3 people and $897 for 4 people. The price of the lesson (i.e. $250) is fully refunded if you decide to buy a board from us within 3 months of the date of the lesson.
We will make a call on the conditions 24 hours before the lesson and contact you if we need to cancel or postpone the lesson. We will provide you with a refund if for some reason you cannot do the lesson at another time. In very rare situations we may cancel a lesson within 24 hours of the lesson starting, due to severe weather. Safety is our number one priority and we will not put anyone at risk due to unsuitable conditions.
H2O Foils will provide you with a helmet, lift jacket and eFoil board for use during your session.
Please bring sunscreen / block out, water to drink, a towel, a suitable swim suit and identification (e.g. driver’s licence). A wetsuit is also recommended if the water temperature is cold or if you feel the cold more than most. We can provide a wetsuit if you make a request when booking the lesson.
If you need to cancel a lesson, for whatever reason, you need to contact us and request a cancellation 48 hours before the lesson commences. If a reservation is cancelled within 48 hours, there will be a $100 cancellation fee.
Our standard lesson is normally conducted at Palm Beach (on the Pittwater side) in flat protected water. We can, upon request, conduct a lesson at an alternative location.

Yes, safety is our number one priority. Our lesson format includes a safety brief. The eFoils that we provide for the lessons all have a propeller guard to protect against accidental harm. We only conduct introductory lessons in a safe environment, suitable for beginners. We provide all safety equipment (including helmets and life jackets).
Our instructors are trained in eFoil instruction and all have first aid certificates and carry a first aid kit at all times.
